Job Title: Java Application Developer/Architect – Azure & Containers
Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Engagement: Contract (12 months)
Role Overview:
Seeking a Java-based web application specialist to design, develop, and deploy scalable applications on Microsoft Azure using container technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop Java/Spring Boot web applications and microservices
- Deploy and manage containerized applications (Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift)
- Build and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure (App Services, AKS, Azure DevOps, API Management)
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated build and deployment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on architecture and integration design
- Troubleshoot performance, scalability, and reliability issues
Requirements:
- 6+ years hands-on Java/J2EE, Spring Boot development
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure (App Services, AKS, Service Bus, DevOps)
- Proficient in Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes/OpenShift)
- Experience with microservices architecture and REST APIs
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Git)
- Good communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
